The Petite Buddy P1 converter accessory fits on our core chair-based Showerbuddy products. The P1 enables smaller individuals to use Showerbuddy comfortably and safely. Changing mobility equipment as we get older can get expensive. That’s why the Petite Buddy accessory is an excellent choice, allowing Showerbuddy to evolve with users as they grow in size.
The Petite Buddy P1 accessory consists of:
- Padded backrest cushion (280mm / 11” wide)
- Backrest depth adjustment (325mm / 12.75” to 375mm / 14.75”)
- Limited recline and incline function
- Reduces width between armrests (305mm / 12”)
- Small aperture opening in cushion (145mm / 5.75”)
- Adjustable padded neck pillow
For small users requiring bathroom transfer assistance, the Petite Buddy P1 is an excellent choice when used in conjunction with SB1, SB2, SB2T or SB3T Showerbuddy chairs (chair purchased separately).
Petite BuddyP2
The next size of Petite Buddy for smaller users of Showerbuddy. There is a wide range of cushion accessories that can also adapt the Petite Buddy to suit the user – refer to the Showerbuddy chair model you are considering.

Like its smaller sibling the P1, Petite Buddy P2 accessory offers the full function, comfort and safety of the Showerbuddy chair products to children and smaller individuals. The P2 accommodates younger or smaller users with its reduced dimensions. With Petite Buddy, users can avoid frequent shower transfer chair upgrades over the course of their life.
The P2 accessory offers:
- Padded backrest cushion (380mm / 15″ wide)
- Adjustable backrest depth (325mm / 12.75” to 375mm / 14.75”)
- Limited reclining and incline function
- Reduced width between armrests (420mm / 16.5”)
- Small aperture opening in cushion – check details on the dimension drawing. Note the P2 cushion has the aperture hole placed further forward away from the backrest than in the P1 or other cushions available.
- Adjustable padded neck pillow.
For users who are smaller than average in size but larger than the dimensions of the P1, Petite Buddy P2 may be the perfect solution when used in conjunction with SB1, SB2, SB2T or SB3T Showerbuddychairs (chair purchased separately).
