K Care Essence Comfort Shower Commode (KA1016) is an attendant-assisted shower and toileting aid designed to support individuals who require assistance with positioning and comfort during bathroom activities. Suitable for use in home, residential care and supported living environments.

This model incorporates tilt-in-space functionality, allowing adjustment of the user’s position to support comfort and postural stability during assisted personal care. The stainless steel frame provides durability and stability in wet environments.

A contoured ergonomic seat with tool-less height adjustment (500–600mm) supports appropriate positioning relative to the user and attending carer. Swing-up armrests assist with transfers, while height-adjustable swing-away footrests and fold-away textured footplates support lower limb positioning and access. A machine-washable backrest supports routine hygiene requirements.

The commode features a compact profile and wheelbase to assist manoeuvrability in confined bathroom spaces. Maximum safe user weight 160kg. Intended to be used with attendant assistance at all times.
