The Slide & Turn Hoist Sheet is a great way of getting a hoist to do the turning, rather than the carer. This is especially beneficial for heavier patients.

Suitable for a person who requires turning in bed to help reduce the risk of pressure sores.

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Log roll the person to place the sheet underneath them. Attach the straps and use the hoist to begin turning. Adjust as necessary to keep the person centred in the bed. Stop lifting once in position and detach the straps. Repeat on the opposite side to reposition.
